As for us who are strong, our duty is to bear with the weaknesses of those who are not strong, and not seek our own pleasure. Let each of us endeavor to please his fellow Christian, aiming at a blessing calculated to build him up. For even the Christ did not seek His own pleasure…

A long week. In pictures. =)

I stole Ariane’s camera (thanks =)) for the week… and I had quite a long week so here’s a few of my faves:

NW and GPCCC Restaurant Ministry Chinese New Year celebration!
Over 250 valley restaurant workers came to FCBC at 11pm and stayed until 1:30am to celebrate Chinese New Year together! I had the opportunity to attend and witness this amazing ministry that is led by some wonderful, loving, committed men and women.

Lion-dance!

This is what the whole room looked like!

Trip to UA.
It amazes me how much I’ve forgotten about college life… about the great diversity in lives, beliefs, social circles. Being on a college campus provides so many opportunities to open up to knowledge and truth and sharing the Gospel! All of the following pictures came from ONE area of campus right outside of the student union.

This was the most thought-provoking sight I saw all day. These two girls are from a campus group and they were “silently protesting” the messages of hate being preached by Brother Jed (the man between the wings). about 4-5 of these winged protesters made a human shield to protect the ears of people walking by. What a powerful act of love.

This young man was part of a group of U of A athletes who simply came to the area to tell people about Jesus Christ. They weren’t part of a group or a club… they simply wanted the truth of Christ to be know. This is EXACTLY what we should be doing as followers of Christ! No shame.

This young man was part of a campus Christian club who joined the “angels” to protest the same way. That was neat to see.

Tom. Tom is a North Korean refugee who walked around this this sandwich board all day. I tried talking to him, but he really knew no English at all. He walked back and forth right next to all of the protesters.

Girls basketball!
Me and Herbie recently started coaching Taylor Yee’s 6th grade girls basketball team. The school has TWO 6th grade teams and these are of the other team (I obviously can’t take pics while I’m coaching!). Our team won our first game in a TRIPLE OVERTIME THRILLER… and lost the next two in our season-opening tournament. =(

Pre-game stretches outside.

The tip-off!

Arcadia <3 Park Day
Park day got rained out so we were in the FCBC FLC for the day =)

Human knot =)

I hope your weeks have been well… whoever is reading this, may Christ bless you in your life. =) Let me know how I can pray for you!
